He is free of the arbitrary Barcelona style of play and no longer has to cater to those around him. He has been given the freedom to express himself and is showing his class. He could walk into any side at the moment and for that reason he is worth at least £45m.
Considering the astronomical sums payed for players who are no better than Alexis (James, Bale) £45m is a more than reasonable sum.
He has shown that his goal tally at Barca was no coincidence and performed on the world’s stage this summer as well so his price is more than justified.

Save any overpricing, I don’t think he has truly reached up to the £45m price tag at this moment. But his certainly not bellowed his buying price of £35m. However, if he continues with his current high performance, he should by January window reach that £45m mark. And the good thing about this Sanchez is, he is an injury free kind of a player that doesn’t pick up any injury after playing 10 games or so. If he can continue like that, he will certainly becomes a big time asset for Arsenal helping us to win laurels.
