If Arsenal are to qualify as top dog from Group D then, tonight’s clash with Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates, is a must win – I actually hate that term, I mean, for me, every single game of football from a kickabout in training to a Champions League final should be a ‘must win’.

The boys need to make a statement, respond to all the disillusion and negativity their performances and results are generating within the Arsenal fanbase and the media; but who can be trusted to step up to the plate? Maybe it is time to freshen things up in the starting XI? Maybe that will inject a bit of drive into the side and kickstart our season.

Laurent Koscielny will be in the matchday squad which is a much needed boost but surely he won’t start at the Emirates? Or maybe he will as things are getting pretty desperate!
