Young gunner Jack Jebb was an integral part of both Arsenal’s under-18s march to the FA Youth Cup semi-finals and the under-19s to the Uefa Youth League quarter finals last season. He is a creative midfielder who made 21 appearances for the U-18s scoring five goals. He is a bit of a free kick specialist as well, and curled home a free-kick in the Youth Cup quarter-final win over Everton, while also scoring in the under-19s’ opening Youth League win at Marseille. The 19 year old also appeared for England’s under-16s and under 17s since 2011 and is dubbed “the new Jack Wilshere” by some (and not just for the name sake).

He is currently on loan at League Two side Stevenage, and has signed an extension to keep him there until January 17th. He initially signed a one month deal on October 16th

Game time accumulated

Since joining Stevenage in October, he has made two appearances for the club making his debut against Accrington Stanley on October 18th.

star moments

Not much to report for Stevenage, but his free kick against Everton in the Youth Cup Quarterfinal last year was a thing of beauty.

managerial comments

Wenger has lauded the player, describing him as a “technically gifted midfield player.”

ready to return?

Not just yet. He is undoubtedly talented but still young and will face massive competition should he return.

Certain permanent departure?

Definitely not. “Technically gifted” is an accurate description, and I would like to see him get a loan to a premier league side or perhaps overseas. After he gets through that, we should re evaluate the player.
