It is nearly impossible to choose a favourite Arsenal match or memory, as our great club has been in my heart for years. So many come to mind from the countless Spurs beatings, the Barca comeback, Arshavin’s destruction of Liverpool, etc. Today in memory lane though, I want to take it back to 2008 when our band of young guns took out the mighty Milan at the San Siro.

I can remember like it was yesterday. The first match of the tie ended 0-0 and Arsenal was tasked with going to San Siro in need of a result. I was on the couch, full of anxiety, excitement, confidence, fear and uncertainty all mixed into one. Adebayor barely missed early on, Fabregas hit the post, and Arsenal were knocking on the door. But then so was Milan. What a side they had. Pirlo, Pato, Kaka, and co put us under all sorts of problems as well.

We had to wait until the 84th to get a break through and what a hit from Fabregas it was. 30 yards an dipping, it nestled into the bottom corner and I was as ecstatic as he was. He ran to Wenger in his celebration, I ran around the house. Screaming in jubilation, I ran while pumping my fist. I made my way back to the couch as the match resumed and in the time is took me to finally settle down and regain composure ,Walcott broke through and squared for Adebayor to tap in. It took a while to sink in but Arsenal had beaten the champions! I still get goosebumps when I think about that night. What a performance. Relive it down below and tell us what your favorite moment was. Click on Wenger and the boys to watch the highlights of that historic night.
