In-form midfielder Samir Nasri has given his reasons for Arsenal’s improved away form this season.

The Gunners boast the best away record in the league, despite having lost three times at their home, the Emirates Stadium.

Nasri believes the players play with more discipline on their travels, particularly in defence.

He explained: “The difference when we play away is that we defend much better. Our discipline and shape is more efficient when we play away.

“I think we have a good chance because everybody is more mature and for the first time as well we don’t have too many people injured.

“I’m quite confident because we can play our game and we know we can score at any moment away.”

The French attacker is confident that Arsenal’s form on the road can continue against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday, as he believes Alex Ferguson’s team have still not recovered from the loss of Carlos Tevez and Cristiano Ronaldo.

He said: “United are not the same team as before with Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.

“It was a little bit scary to play at Old Trafford. Now I don’t think offensively they are the same as before. We are really confident to get a result out of this game.”
