Tony Adams has received the highest recommendation possible for the Arsenal hot seat, with manager Arsène Wenger saying that the former centre-half would make a future manager.
Adams is an Arsenal legend amongst the fans and although previously Gooners wanted David O'Leary to take the role of manager, it seems the pendulum has swung in Adams' favour.
Wenger said: "It is not for me to say what Tony's future holds but what he has done well is to learn the process of dealing with a team and with players.
"Once he has done that, maybe he will be a future Arsenal manager. Why not?"
Adams is currently the assistant manager to Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth FC.
