Alex Song is yet another young prospect plucked from the obscurities of French club football by Arsène Wenger. Physically built like a monster, Song unfortunately seems to suffer from a lack of motivation on the pitch and his lackadaisical efforts have become legendary.
He actually didn't do too badly during his loan period last season at Charlton - but its difficult to see what Wenger sees in a player like him. He has been used in the heart of central defence in pre-season, and it looks as though he will act as cover there and in central midfield.
Definitely needs a new hairdresser.
