Profile

After a promising end to his first season, a series of less than convincing performances have convinced many fans that Cygan is not an Arsenal-standard player. However, despite the odd hiccup, Cygan has put in solid performances when called up to the first team play. He even popped up against Fulham last season to score a brace!

His reading of the game in European matches is very good; however his lack of pace often exposes him in Premiership matches. His role is now to provide experience around the club and act as a backup to Phil, Kolo and Djourou.
