Ryan Garry has only made just the one appearance for the Arsenal youth and reserves teams in almost three seasons. Before he was cut down by injury he had made twelve appearances for the Arsenal U19 team.
Due to his lack of time on the pitch his true ability is somewhat unknown. When fit, he was an able left-back, with the height and build to also play in central defence.
In his own words: "I'm very conscious of not doing too much too soon because I have been aiming to become a professional footballer at Arsenal since I joined the Club when I was nine years old. I don't want to jeopardise that and although it's been frustrating, that fact has kept me patient and determined to the point where other players at the Club have said that they probably would have given up had they been in my position."
This season will be very important to his Arsenal future.
