Who are ya?

Imagine being dubbed a star at the age 15? No pressure, ey?!

Mile Svilar, a 15-year-old goalkeeper who plays for last night’s Champions League opposition Anderlecht, is being linked with a move to Arsenal.

Obviously, given his young age, there isn’t too much information around about the youngster, however, reports from Belgium have suggested that he can be the next Thibaut Courtois.

Believability factor

Given that Premier League clubs are always developing and expanding their scouting network, the ages they are bringing players on board is getting younger and younger.

The fact Arsene Wenger is renowned for his eye for a future star, it makes Arsenal’s interest very likely. However, given that Manchester United and Chelsea are also showing an interest in the ‘keeper, suggests it will be hard for Arsenal to secure his signature.

Spend some money, Arsene

No price has been touted, however, these things, given Sivlar’s age, are usually resolved in a compensation agreement.

Game changer?

Given that last night we played with our third choice goalkeeper and had our sixth choice shot-stopper on the bench means Sivlar could very well be our No.1 at the start of next season!

Ultimately, it’s too early to tell.
