Who?

20 year old Brazilian striker Anderson Talisca

Where?

Anderson plays for Benfica  and is the current top goal scorer in the division with 8 goals in 9 appearances. He joined the Portuguese club in the summer from home town club Bahia and has also represented his country at the U-20 and U-23 levels. He can play both as forward or attacking midfielder and possesses excellent skill and trickery.

Arsene, spend some money

Benfica payed only £3.1 million for his services so doubling or tripling the fee shouldn’t be an issue for Arsenal. Benfica will be reluctant to part ways with him so soon though so I am not sure how valid this link is.

Believability factor-4

Acquiring a player in January who arrived at a club the summer prior rarely every happens and is extremely difficult. The club will be relucant as will the player who only just got settled in. Not to mention, Arsenal currently has a Koscielny/Khedira sized hole in the squad (see what I did there?) and Anderson wouldn’t quite fill it.

Talisa himself  also has cooled these reports recently:

“I am thinking only of Benfica,” he said. “I know I have and am able to learn much from this wonderful group, with its supporters and with the coach.”

Game changer?

No, Arsenal don’t need a forward. Should I say it again? Or did you get it the first 500 times?
