Arsenal host Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow afternoon in a key Premier League clash, where a victory can move the Gunners level on points with the Red Devils and just two points off top spot.

After a shock Champions League defeat to Olympiakos, the pressure is on Arsene Wenger’s side to provide a positive response and avoid what the media will call a ‘crisis’.

Things won’t quite be that bad for Arsenal should they lose but ahead of the international break, three points will be a huge boost and will prove the North London side are genuine title contenders.

Arsenal will make changes, with Petr Cech set to return in goal after a questionable decision in midweek to drop the veteran for David Ospina; who endured a woeful match.

Laurent Koscielny’s absence through injury means Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista will partner in the middle, which is a blow as Arsenal will be looking to see yet another centre-back pairing gel quickly.

It’ll be the first-choice wide pairing completing the defence though, with Hector Bellerin set to continue ahead of Mathieu Debuchy and Nacho Monreal replacing Kieran Gibbs on the left.

Francis Coquelin will play in midfield alongside Santi Cazorla and will be a crucial cog in the machine for Arsenal, who will be looking on the young Frenchman to quell any United attacking outlet.

Ahead of them Alexis Sanchez will be looking to continue his fine form, with the Chilean now having four goals in his past two games, whilst Mesut Ozil has looked positive in recent games in feeding the former Barcelona man.

A decision has to be made on the right, as Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will battle for the role. Ramsey has been ineffective going forward, whereas Oxlade-Chamberlain has struggled in defence.

A reshuffle to put Theo Walcott on the right is unlikely, so we’d expect Ramsey to get the nod out wide and Walcott to continue in attack ahead of Olivier Giroud- who will be available again after a European suspension and high on confidence after finding the net against Leicester City.

Arsenal XI: Cech; Bellerin, Mertesacker, Gabriel, Monreal; Cazorla, Coquelin; Ramsey, Ozil, Alexis; Walcott
