Arsenal open their 2017 FA Cup campaign with a long trip to Preston North End on Saturday evening, as Arsene Wenger looks to secure the trophy for the third time in four years.
With it being the Frenchman’s 20th, and quite possibly final, year with the Gunners he will be desperate to bring the famous trophy back to north London for the seventh time in his career.
With a lot to come over the next few weeks for Wenger and his side, who were handed hope in the Premier League title race when their north London rivals, Tottenham, beat league leaders Chelsea this week, a weakened team is likely to be sent out at Deepdale.
The hosts, lead by Simon Grayson, are five points off the play-off spots in the Championship and are in the midst of a fairly mixed run, much like the Gunners.
