26. Damian Martinez

Now Arsenal’s third choice goalkeeper, following the departure of Lukasz Fabianski to Swansea City in the summer of 2013, Argentine stopper Damian Martinez will be looking to follow the path of Wojciech Szczesny into the Arsenal first team.

Having already achieved a first team start for the Gunners in their crazy 7-5 Capital One Cup victory over Reading in 2012/13, Martinez has gone on to prove a sturdier, more assured competitor during his time on loan with Sheffield Wednesday in 2013/14.

Achieving 11 appearances for the Owls, Martinez gained vital first team experience in the Championship, putting him in good stead for the years ahead.
