20. Mathieu Flamini
Appearing for Arsenal in two spells, having re-signed for the Gunners in the summer of 2013, Mathieu Flamini is a close disciple of fellow Frenchman Arsène Wenger.
The combative little defensive midfielder isn’t scared of anyone in the Premier League despite his stature and is strong in the tackle, often picking up yellow cards, but remaining determined for the entire 90 minutes.
Originally brought to North London way back in 2004 from Marseille, Flamini had only appeared 14 times for the Ligue 1 giants before Arsène Wenger decided that he would prove a shrewd investment.
Flamini appeared 102 times in the Premier League for Arsenal in his first spell before departing for AC Milan in 2008 but this would prove a temporary goodbye having returned to the club in 2013.
