Serge Aurier would start if he played for Arsenal or Manchester United, that’s according to his former Ivory Coach head boss, Sabri Lamouchi, as per reports in The Mirror.

The once disgraced Paris Saint-Germain right-back has recently been linked with Barcelona and Lamouchi maintains the 23 year-old would walk in to a number of the Premier Leagues most elite sides.

“If you were to put him tomorrow in Arsenal’s, Chelsea’s or Manchester United’s team, he would start,” Lamouchi told L’Equipe.

“An explosive, powerful and quick full-back is exceptional, there aren’t many on the market. He’s not at his best yet, either.”

Aurier is currently competing for his position at PSG with Thomas Meunir and struggling to cement his starting place over the Belgium international.

The Ivorian was suspended by PSG earlier this year and publicly scolded by former boss Laurent Blanc for a video in which Aurier suggested Blanc had sexual activity with former striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

He has also aimed unfavourable comments at keeper Salvatore Sirigu and striker Edinson Cavani and in May was sentenced to two months in prison for violence against a police officer outside a Paris nightclub.

What do you think Gooners? Could Aurier start over Hector Bellerin and would you be worried of his attitude disrupting the team? Let us know in the comments below.
