Just under a quarter of the way into the 2014/15 season and people are already getting carried away with the fact Chelsea are yet to lose a game in their opening nine fixtures.
The premature talk has already seen a few fans and pundits suggest Jose Mourinho’s side could repeat Arsene Wenger’s great squad of 2003/04 by going the whole campaign unbeaten.
Chelsea, there’s no denying it, have the best squad in the Premier League but it’s a little early to even mention them in the same breathe as Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp et al.
Not sure this should be the real concern of Gooners, my friend. We should be worrying more about our team’s performance in 2014/2015 which, if you ask me, has been far from anything convincing, never mind satisfying.
