At times a breathtaking shot stopper, now down the pecking order by the looks of things. By all accounts an exceptional deputy whose progress was astounding two seasons ago. Will hopefully soak up what Lehmann can offer in the same way he did with Seaman. Still too naive for a regular first team place in the view of many. His clean sheets tend to be few and far between, and whether this is due to his defence tends to lead to an inconclusive debate.
Taylor is on loan at Championship club Leicester City at present.
