So, there we have it, Yaya Sanogo has been the man chosen to replace the ineligble Olivier Giroud and the injured Danny Welbeck in tonight’s clash with Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

The fact that Arsene Wenger has opted for the French Under 21 international over our German World Cup winner Lukas Podolski is sign enough – like we needed anymore – that the former Bayern Munich man will be off, probably as soon as January.

We’ve all seen the quotes from Lukas about being unhappy about his lack of playing time etc and this has brought about a lot of clamour for the German to be utilised more regularly amongst the Arsenal fans.

Podolski’s best role certainly isn’t as the lone striker, however, with his phenomenal goal-to-games ratio, surely he is a safer bet than Sanogo, who has only scored in the Emirates Cup?

Has Wenger taken too big of a risk tonight? Or is Sanogo the ol’ cliche of one goal away from going on a rich vein of form?

Wenger is responsible for arsenal awful performance. How on earth could wenger continue to make the same mistake selling players without replacing them and never criticizes his players for poor performance instead he keeps blaming referees, the pitches etc. But i believe arsenal Board is only interested in the financial returns not the fans’ joy who pay their hard gotten money to buy tickets, promotional materials etc. Had it been Sierra Leone we could have stop buying arsenal’s tickets.

Infact am supporting on Wenger’s move..we can’t lose big teams in EPL while the players who can change the game are on the bench…byeeeee Wenger…I always support Carroll Radull’s comment.
