Last night’s 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League was full of positives for us Gooners, as we made sure the three points stayed in north London and kept alive our hopes of topping Group D (and inevitably avoiding Bayern Munich).

It was great to see the lads get back to winning ways – and convincingly at that – to ease the pressure on Arsene Wenger and the tension that had been growing between the fans after several poor performances and results.

With our ridiculous injury list, – that may well have had Mikel Arteta and Yaya Sanogo added to it – without the experience of Danny Welbeck and/or Olivier Giroud up top, I think we can be proud of the result against a side viewed as one of the best in Europe.
