Goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is looking more likely to be leaving the Emirates Stadium in January.

German-side Wolfsburg are interested in signing the 38-year-old keeper, who has lost his place in the Arsenal starting eleven to Spaniard Manuel Almunia.

The situation has deteriorated to such an extend that Lehmann has refused to help Almunia warm-up before matches.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are thought to be interested in signing midfielder Gilberto SIlva.

The Brazilian World Cup winner has been used sparingly as a substitute this season and looks to be surplus to requirements at the Emirates.

British tabloids are claiming that a fee of £6 million will secure the Brazilian’s services.

Another midfielder who could leave the Gunners is Lasana Diarra, who reportedly has had a £6 million price tag placed on him.

The former Chelsea player, who only cost Arsenal £2 million in the last transfer window, is upset about the inflated price.
