As always, social media came to life after yesterday’s less than stellar result against the Spuds. Twitter users responded, well, how you would expect them to respond; with anger, bemusement and disappointment. It wasn’t a great result for Arsenal, and the twittersphere let it be known exactly how they felt. Here are a few of the best.

@samqlev

“Even at 0 1 I knew we gonna take something out of the points.They are always an inferior team to me,but Flam nearly spoiled my day”

I never felt Arsenal would lose yesterday either, even at 1-0 down. Disappointing to concede such a soft goal, so I agree that Flamini almost ruined my day as well.

@AntMansWorld

“That’s it you spurs rejoice about drawing against us LOL”

Very well said my friend. Small teams always feel a point is fantastic against a big club, let them have their moment (haha!).

@Ben_Frisby

“Wenger not starting Alexis Sanchez yesterday could possibly be the most stupid decision I’ve ever witnessed”

A bit harsh, but a mystery decision nonetheless. I too couldn’t understand why he chose to sit him after all the reports of Sanchez’s excitement about the derby.

@ikan_pari

“You won 0-3 away at Villa park with 4231 formation and yet you reverted with 4-1-4-1 formation with Ozil on the flanks. Why?”

Something I pondered as well, Ozil did brilliantly in his favoured roll and I would have thought in such a massive game you would want to put your best players in the best position to make an impact.

@bradleymarsha11

“I’ve never seen a team so happy for a draw until yesterday”

    I agree. I have never seen Arsenal so happy at equalising against Tottenham. Amazing how low they have sunk.

    we should have won it but for bad luck. We shall win it at white Hart-lane. they will never finish above Arsenal

    It is not about winning or drawing with Tottenham. There are Arsenal fans outside of the UK and what matters most is competing with the teams that are finishing abive us. Wr care about winning Tottenham but not as much as you UK fans. Lets be honest, every Arsenal fan is scared of watching the Arsenal games because we are a team that can lose to any premier leagur that is determuned to win us. Not excited this season at all.

    If only Welbz had been successful with his clearance attempt, Spurs would have got all 3 points.
