Sensational from Arsenal’s three lions as a brace from Danny Welbeck helped England beat Slovenia 3-1. Welbeck was on target, but it was Wilshere who got man of the match and gooners will love to see Arsenal players prospering. Wilshere dictated the game from midfield, Gibbs was solid at left back as usual, and Chamberlain did well in his short cameo.

Danny Welbeck is the man of the hour though with an impressive six minute brace, as he continues his goal scoring streak for England. Their was a bit of fortune on the first, but the second was a strike of a marksman. Controlling a return pass from Sterling off of his chest before rifling the ball home. Sublimely well done and Welbeck now has four goals in his last four games for England.

As usual, fans took to twitter to express their approval, but it was the big names that did most of the praise singing. The likes of Michael Owen, Piers Morgan, Rio Ferdinand and Gary Lineker all heaped praise on Danny boy via twitter. Much needed confidence booster for the player.
