After just about seeing off West Brom, Arsenal can look at their upcoming fixtures in good spirits. The Gunners’ next five league games consist of Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Swansea and Watford. All would be considered very winnable matches.

Whether 15 points from the five will be enough to bring Arsenal back into play remains to be seen. Many Arsenal fans aren’t holding their breath, with Chelsea seemingly impenetrable.

The Blues, who are nine points ahead, have won their last 12 league games and continue to notch up clean sheets with ease.

Liverpool are three points ahead of the Gunners in second. Jurgen Klopp’s side continue to play attractive football which has seen the Reds score more goals than anybody else.

In fact, Arsene Wenger’s side who have been shy in front of goal of late could do with a couple of Liverpool’s frontmen.

Take a look at TWO Liverpool players who would fit in perfectly at Arsenal…

Daniel Sturridge

When fit, Sturridge is a prolific league goal scorer. The Englishman’s link up play which he established with Luiz Suarez could work perfectly with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Not only is Sturridge unnerving in front of goal but the forward is rarely used at Liverpool. Clearly the 27 year-old doesn’t fit into Jurgen Klopp’s plans and such a talent should not be wasted.

Philippe Coutinho

Though currently injured, Philippe Coutinho has been instrumental in Liverpool’s success this season. The Brazilian has the ability to thread a ball through the idea of a needle, the skill to beat a man and the composure to finish a move.

The fact is Mesut Ozil is too comfortable. Arsene Wenger has demonstrated that bad performances from the German will not go unpunished. Perhaps because he feels the competition for the Number 10 role is not strong enough. Signing Coutinho and the competition that comes with it would give Ozil an added incentive to improve.
