Arsenal have managed to gain some momentum after edging passed West Brom on Boxing Day.

Giroud’s late winner gave Arsenal the all important three points, keeping the Gunners’ feint title hopes alive.

Arsenal remain in 4th, nine points behind league leaders Chelsea as we head into the New Year.

January is a key month for Arsenal. A couple of squad addition to go their way or a key player signing a new deal could inject some life into their title chances.

Despite the recent dip in form, there are a few first team players who continue to be overlooked. A loan deal has helped the likes of Jack Wilshere in the past. And Callum Chambers is currently flourishing during his short spell at Middlesborough.

Here are TWO other Arsenal players who would benefit from a loan move…

CARL JENKINSON

Since his return this summer the England international has struggled to breach a first team place. Jenkinson’s Arsenal future looks bleak and although a loan would mean some more time away from Arsenal, the regular game time would only benefit his chances of cementing a starting role in the long term.

Arsene Wenger recently spoke of Jenkinson’s loss of confidence. A loan move to a less publicised club would help to reproduce his lost morale.

Reports suggest that Aston Villa, Hull, Swansea and his former short term club West Ham are keen on the 24 year-old’s services.

JEFF REINE-ADELAIDE

Despite injuries to Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott, with Danny Welbeck on his way back into the fold, the chances of regular game time are still slim for the Frenchman.

The youngster has shown glimpses of potential in his scarce appearances for the Gunners. We saw how a loan spell at Bolton blossomed Jack Wilshere and some time away from The Emirates for Reine-Adelaide could kick-start his Arsenal career.
