3 best Arsenal performers from the win over Swansea City

Arsenal continued their push for the Premier League title with a fifth consecutive win in the league, which gave the Gunners a perfect October.

A thrilling second-half performance gave Arsenal all three points, ensuring that they kept pace with title-rivals Manchester City and moved two points further ahead of Manchester United; who drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace.

The Gunners gameplay worked but @DanGaleaStJohn believes these three players were crucial for Arsenal’s victory and without them Arsenal may not have got the result they did.

Mesut Ozil

Rather quiet in the first half, but was in the thick of action in the second. Pulled the strings, assisting two goals, and being a part of another. Also, his hold up play was uncharacteristically good.

He also had a rasping shot well saved by Fabianski. It should be noted that his assisted the 2000th goal scored by Arsenal under Arsene Wenger. Arsenal need Ozil to be in this form all throughout the season.

Laurent Koscielny

A rock at the back, and a goal scorer at the other. The Frenchman now has 2 goals in his last two games.

Koscielny blocked, intercepted, and tackled all throughout the game. A very solid performance by our number one center back. Arsenal need him to remain fit all season in order to maintain their title charge.

Joel Campbell

An amazing full Premier League debut for the Costa Rican forward who has found playing time rather scarce throughout his Arsenal career. He was lively, he tracked back, and he capped off his performance with his first goal in an Arsenal shirt.

With Chamberlain, Ramsey and Walcott out injured this is his chance to seize the opportunity, and he got off to a wonderful start.
