3 Bundesliga bargain buys Arsenal must snap up in January

Arsene Wenger had wanted Boadu at the Emirates

Arsenal’s squad is very thin at present, with many injuries to key players corrupting their teams performances, and with cup games mid-week soon to be played, the squad may struggle to keep performance levels high with tired legs.

Arsene Wenger will surely bring a few new additions to the team this January transfer window so that some of his players can have a rest during the week.

The football world know that the Arsenal manager prefers not to splash out on the cash, and will definitely be looking for some bargains in this transfer window to welcome to the Emirates. In today’s market, it is not easy to find bargains, and the majority of players will come at a hefty price.

The Bundesliga is a division which has grown in the last decade, and is now filled with quality players that any Premier League side would be willing to have.

Here is THREE Bundesliga players we think Arsenal should bring in this January for a small fee…

Bernardo

The surprise of the Bundesliga this season has been the title charge for the newly established club, RB Leipzig. Just three points behind leaders Bayern Munich, nobody can quite believe the consistency of Ralph Hasenhutti’s side, with many young players being key to their successful season.

Brazilian centre-midfielder Bernardo, has especially caught the eye in the German division this season with excellent performances throughout the first half of the season. At just twenty-one years old, the holding midfielder is surely to become a fine player in the future, and with the newly established club struggling with funds, an offer for their star players would likely to be accepted.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

The Dutch target man is now at the back of his career at the age of thirty-three, and it would be the ideal time for Arsene Wenger to sign the striker at a very low fee. Huntleaar could join this January transfer window for a minimal cost and fire Arsenal to the title.

The Dutchman has scored goals throughout his career at every club he has been at, and it would surely be no different at the London side.

A very experienced striker who could well be Arsenal’s main striker.

Mario Gomez

Similar to Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, a vastly experienced striker at both club and international level with Germany. Gomez at the age of thirty-one would be a fine addition for Arsene Wenger with his minimal options in the centre-forward role.

The German has scored twenty-nine goals for his national side, with over two hundred goals at club level. He could be a vital addition to the Gooners with his composure in front of goal.
