Premier League legend Alan Shearer has predicted the run in for the race for the top four.

Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are all vowing to finish in the final two Champions League paying positions.

Arsenal have stumbled of late with three defeats in four. As have Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United who were beaten 2-0 by rivals Manchester City in midweek.

With three games remaining, Spurs currently sit third on 70 points after an upturn in form, while Chelsea got away with their draw at home to Burnley on Monday evening to remain in fourth on 67 points.

And Shearer doesn’t believe Arsenal or Man Utd have enough in their locker to catch the sides above.

As reported by Metro, Shearer told Optus Sport: ‘Probably Chelsea, only because the lack of form from the others.

Mesut Ozil reacts to another Arsenal away defeat

‘We’re sat here talking about Manchester United and the first thing we talk about tonight [after the defeat to Man City] is: ‘at least they put the effort in’.

‘That’s how bad Manchester United have fallen – we’re praising them because of their attitude.

‘So because of that reason and because Arsenal have got two away games, and they’ve been hopeless away from home, Tottenham are in and probably Chelsea.

‘I would expect Man United to win their last two games against Huddersfield and Cardiff but I still don’t think that will be enough.’
