3 playmakers who could realistically join Arsenal before the end of January

With Arsenal ace Mesut Ozil being the clubs only playmaker fit at present, it is a massive worry for Arsene Wenger everytime the German international is involved in a challenge. Wenger, and the fans, know that an injury to their key playmaker could be the end of their title challenge for the season.

With an injury already keeping Santi Cazorla on the sidelines until the end of the season, Arsenal are very thin on their creative midfielders selection.

There are many playmakers on the market for Arsenal to scout and approach this January transfer window, and they may need to recruit one before the window closes to keep their title challenge alive.

With an injury hit squad,  here are THREE playmakers that Arsenal should try to buy before the end of January..

Do you agree? Who would you want Arsene Wenger to sign to add creativity to his side?

Isco

The young Spaniard chose to join Real Madrid when he left Malaga in 2013, but since Zinedine Zidane has been in charge of his old club, Isco has fallen out of favour when selecting his squad. At twenty-fours year old, Isco will be itching to get playing-time under his belt, so he can make a breakthrough into the Spain squad for upcoming major tournaments.

A move to the Gooners could be the perfect fit the Spaniard, with Arsene Wenger’s injury hit squad, there is no doubt Isco would get playing time and showing the world what he can produce.

An offer from Arsenal would surely tempt the Real Madrid playmaker, with frequent Premier League appearances replacing substitute appearances in the La Liga.

Dimitri Payet

The West Ham playmaker has been in the medias headlines in the last week due to his comments regarding his future at West Ham. Payet wants to leave the club, after the East-London side struggling in the Premier League this season.

Last season saw West Ham finish seventh in the division, with the French playmaker being at the heart of the success of the club qualifying for the Europa League.

Payet would bring a new aspect to Arsenal’s game, with fantastic set-pieces and a catalogue of skill moves, a signing that fans would surely like to see.

Kevin Kampl

The twenty-six year old Slovenian is currently playing his football in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkrusen. Kampl is a superb example of a playmaker, with precise through balls and amazing vision.

With Bayer struggling in the Bundesliga this season, their star players such as Kampl could be tempted for a switch to the Emirates this January.

Kampl would be a fine addition to the Arsenal squad, especially if Mesut Ozil picks up an injury.
