3 unsettled stars Arsenal must swoop for this month

Arsene Wenger had wanted Boadu at the Emirates

The January transfer window is a difficult time to sign big players as teams prefer to let their players leave at the end of the season so that they have time to plan who they will replace their departure with.

If Arsenal are going to sign some big profile names this week, they will most likely be players who are not satisfied at the club they’re currently playing for, and would be looking for a move away.

Most unsettled professionals are players who are not receiving the game time that they wish for, and finding themselves on the bench watching their teammates on a weekly basis when they believe they’re good enough to play.

The biggest teams in football have problems when keeping all their squad happy as everyone wants to play but it is hard to get them all the game-time they ask for. As this is the case, many players look to leave to find more game-time.

Here are THREE unsettled stars who Arsene Wenger should bring in…

Isco

The young Spaniard has been left frustrated at the Spanish gaints since club legend Zinedine Zidane took charge at Real Madrid. Isco has found it difficult to get game-time under his new boss, being left on the bench with short cameo appearances when called upon.

The playmaker could be a fine addition to Arsenal’s squad, and would surely be tempted to join the North London club with the opportunity of playing regular football.

James Rodriguez

Another Real Madrid star who has not been playing the amount of football he would have expected since Zidane took over. The Colombian was arguably the most wanted man after the last World Cup in Brazil, with exceptional performances for Colombia. The skillful midfielder chose Real Madrid to sign for from Monaco but now may be regretting his choice.

There’s no doubt that Arsenal would be interested in signing his services with a deadly trio of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and James Rodriguez being a possibility.

Riyad Mahrez

The Algerian won the Premier League last season with Leicester as well as picking up the PFA Player of the Season award. This season has been completely different for Mahrez, with Leicester now battling to stay in the division, something that the tricky magician would not want to be doing.

An offer from Arsenal this week would definitely tempt the Algerian, with another title race in his sights. The only problem both Arsene Wenger and Mahrez face is Leicester would be very unwilling to let him leave half way through the season.
