Mikel Arteta was appointed to replace Unai Emery as the Arsenal head coach on 20th December of 2019. In the last few years, we have seen several fresh faces join Arteta’s squad. From new signings to Arsenal’s own talented players, Arteta is believed to be the right man to get the best out of his squad – Individually and collectively.

This year we are finally gradually starting to see the football philosophy that Arteta would like to display to the Arsenal fans. In fact, there is a certain excitement returning to the Emirates stadium. Today, casino game providers such as the Platin Casino online in the UK offer football-themed casino games to try to replicate this experience. The idea of casino football-themed games would have never come into existence if it weren’t for the popularity of the game of football, and the players that make it the game it is today. However, it is believed that without the right manager to motivate their players, some of the world’s greatest players would have never excelled to such a high level. Talent can be found anywhere, but the right manager can really make the difference for certain players. Therefore, in this article we will cover five Arsenal players that we believe Arteta can get the best out of in the next few years.

Gabriel Martinelli

Brazilian-born footballer Gabriel Martinelli joined Arsenal in July 2019 from Ituano. He made his first English Premier League debut on August 11, 2019. In the 2021/2022 season, he has already made a total of nineteen appearances, scoring four goals, and giving three assists in the process. There is only room for improvement at this stage, and if he continues to perform and play with the right attitude, and continue to follow Arteta’s instructions, we will see greater statistics in the years to come.

Bukayo Saka

Saka made his first debut on January 2019 in the Europa League. Since then, he’s scored four goals and given eleven assists in the 2019/2020 season, seven goals and ten assists in the 2020/2021 season and has already scored seven goals and given four assists in the current 2021/2022 season. It comes as no surprise that Saka is on this list, as we’ve seen Arteta transform him into an important player for Arsenal, leading him to his England national team callups. It is noticeable that year by year, Saka’s statistics and performances seem to improve.

Martin Ødegaard

After proving himself to be a player of great quality during his loan spell last season, Arsenal decided to sign Ødegaard for the 2021/2022 season. The Norwegian magician has been an excellent addition to strengthen Arsenals squad and its depth. This year he has already scored four goals and given four assists in twenty-one games for Arsenal. He is deemed to be a future star and Arteta seems to be taking him on the right path.

Emile Smith Rowe

After a successful loan with Leipzig in 2018/19 and Huddersfield Town in 2019/20, Emile returned to Arsenal and has been a vital part of the team ever since. This season alone, he has already scored nine goals and given two assists already – A fantastic statistic for a midfielder so early in the season. The beauty of all this is that we believe there is still room for so much improvement under Arteta and his staff.

Aaron Ramsdale

Another recent addition to Arteta’s squad, coming straight from Sheffield united – Aaron Ramsdale is proving himself to be the real deal. In just nineteen games, we’ve seen Arsenal grab a total of eleven clean sheets with Ramsdale in goal. An immediate impact for the Gunners, and amongst the fan favourites. Arteta trusts him in goal, giving him the confidence needed to excel and improve in the coming seasons under his guidance.

Conclusion

Arsenal has always been recognized for giving talented players an opportunity to show their worth. Now more than ever, the North London side have a squad filled with talented individuals ready to take on the big stage with Arteta by their side. If Mikel continues to bring results and the best out of his players, Arsenal have a side which could be extremely dangerous to come up against in the coming years.
