Like us, we’re sure many of you are currently itching for the Premier League action to return with the international break particularly laborious to bear.
The European section of World Cup qualifying has just began of course and with England doing their best to bore spectators to death yet again before Adam Lallana scored his stoppage time winner against Slovakia, it’s high time we returned to Premier League action.
There is of course even more eagerness for domestic football to return if you’re a Gooner given the fact that Arsenal fans are waiting for their first glimpse of new boys Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez out on the pitch.
In Lucas, Arsenal fans needn’t worry about the Spanish striker potentially getting injured on international duty for the time being with the 27-year-old former Deportivo La Coruna man yet to win international caps with Spain.
If he impressed at Arsenal, expect Julen Lopetegui to award him a call-up but until then, Lucas will only contribute for Arsenal and that’s great news according to Gooners.
But because it’s currently the international break, we thought we’d be topical today while coming up with FIVE Arsenal stars past and present who should’ve won international caps in their careers.
