@DanGaleaStJohn makes his pick of five youngsters he believes should be honoured at the end of the season.

Uunlike in recent seasons, not many youngsters featured for Arsenal this year, and as a consequence I included a player who turned 24 this year in the list.

Hector Bellerin

He is my young player of the year by a mile. He’s featured in most games and as the season wore on he got better and better, contributing not only defensively, but also offensively. His crossing was not always the best, but the amount of clear cut chances he created was a massive contribution for a right back.

Joel Campbell

Campbell featured more than he did last year, but he was still used sparingly by Arsene Wenger. However, he always gave his all, and contributed a number of important goals, assists, as well as helping defensively. His assist to Giroud against former loan club Olympiacos was probably his best moment in Arsenal colours.

Alex Iwobi

He only became a first team player recently, but he also featured heavily in the FA cup, performing exceptionally well in each game he started. Hopefully he can carry this season’s form onto next season.

Mohamed Elneny

The 23 year old joined in January, and has impressed a lot since then. His goal versus Barcelona, though futile, was wonderful to watch, and he has since nailed down his position alongside Francis Coquelin. Speaking of which, next on our list is…

Francis Coquelin

He is the oldest player on this list, but not many youngsters have featured for the club this season. The OX could have been added to this list, but he really didn’t impress me as much as I expected. Coquelin started off a bit slowly, and then spent a while out injured, but recently he has been on top form. And, red card against Spurs aside, he hasn’t done much wrong.
