Late in the summer transfer window, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger oversaw some vital outgoings that were concluded in order to trim down his large squad.
Many Gooners often claim it’s worth holding onto as many players as possible due to the disproportionate amount of injuries the Gunners seem to suffer year in, year out.
That said, with players needing to be released on loan for game time or alternatively sold permanently to allow them to take up a new challenge, Arsenal said goodbye to Joel Campbell, Calum Chambers, Serge Gnabry and Jack Wilshere late in the window.
With these four being allowed to depart either permanently or on loan, Arsenal’s first team squad continues to look incredibly strong with everybody fit and that will be the challenge of the Gunners’ medical team this season.
