Arsenal hosted Burnley yesterday afternoon in a dramatic battle at The Emirates stadium. The match eventually finished 2-1 to the Gunners, after a late winner in the ninety-seventh minute from Arsenal’s leading goalscorer, Alexis Sanchez.

The last ten minutes in north London were frustrating for Gunners fans and their manager, Arsene Wenger, with the latter being sent down the tunnel for his comments and actions against the fourth official in stoppage time.

Burnley were awarded a penalty in the closing stages after a foolish tackle from substitute Francis Coquelin on the ever determined Ashley Barnes. Andre Gray stepped up to take the responsibility and rescued what seemed to be a point for the visitors.

Sean Dyche’s side were left heart-broken in the final moments of the game after a controversial penalty was awarded to the home-side this time, with ninety-seven minutes on the clock. Replays showed that  Laurent Koscienly was initially offside when the ball was delivered to him in the box.

Arsenal scrape another 3 points in the bag, but here’s FIVE things we learned from Arsenal yesterday…
