Theo Walcott will surely leave Arsenal in January after being omitted from the entire squad for the goalless draw at West Ham.

The England international has been used sparingly by Arsene Wenger this season, with game time being restricted to Europa League and domestic cup matches.

Arsene Wenger chose to subtly rotate his team for the game at the London stadium, handing out starts to Olivier Giroud, Jack Wilshere and a first Premier League start for Ainsley Maitland-Niles. However, Walcott failed to even make the 18-man squad.

After links with West, Everton and a return to former side Southampton, the 28 year-old is likely to be considering his options.

Theo has seen his opportunities drastically cut this season and no longer appears valued by his manager. He could be set to force a move in January.

The forward will still have hopes of making Gareth Southgate’s squad for next summer’s World Cup in Russia.
