Folarin Balogun has excelled in France and it appears Arsenal are ready to make a transfer decision regarding the forward.

THE LOWDOWN: NEWFOUND FORM IN FRANCE

Folarin Balogun joined Ligue 1 side Reims in the summer and has hit the ground running. The arrival of Gabriel Jesus and the presence of Eddie Nketiah made the youngster leave Arsenal temporarily and it looks like he made a good decision.

So far, Balogun has hit the ground running with five goals in eight league starts and has been named one of the revelations of Ligue 1.

Thierry Henry recently praised the youngster’s boldness to move to France, saying he was pleased with his mindset: “When I heard he was coming to France, it made me think he has a refreshing mindset.” Meanwhile, due to his excellent start in France, the English forward also revealed the influence that a former Gunner had on his move to the Ligue 1.

THE LATEST: ARSENAL DECISION

Folarin Balogun is one of Arsenal’s best loanees this season as the striker has found France a place of comfort.

As he continues to thrive in the French top flight, Arteta previously mentioned that Balogun’s future remains at the Emirates and it appears that his long-term future is being discussed back in London.

Jeunes Footeux says manager Mikel Arteta wants Balogun to spend another season on loan at Reims. According to the report, he would pen a long-term deal at the Emirates before returning to the French club. However, Reims’s safety from the drop is only the reason why he will return to the club.

THE VERDICT: GOING ON WELL

Folarin Balogun has been enjoying himself in France and he needs to continue excelling there. It is good for his development and he could come back to the Emirates to make his mark in few seasons to come.
