Barcelona might have conceded defeat in their pursuit of Youri Tielemans, as they feel the Belgian has chosen Arsenal as his next club.

Arsenal have been on Tielemans’ case for a while now. The Gunners held talks with the player and his agent, as well as his club in order to get him last January and this summer, but none materialized into a move.
Following those disappointments, Arsenal opted to wait for the Belgian to be free or enter his final six months at Leicester before returning for him.
Based on the latest report, Arsenal may have agreed to sign him for free in the summer, which could force a Spanish club to concede defeat in their own pursuit of the midfielder.

Barcelona, according to a report, could concede defeat in the pursuit of midfield target Youri Tielemans, as they feel he has already chosen his next club.
As per Marca, Barcelona could switch their attention away from Youri Tielemans to other targets. The Belgian is viewed as a perfect replacement for the ageing Sergio Busquets, but the Catalans feel he will join Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Youri Tielemans is yet to decide his long-term future, but it is looking likely that he will move on a free transfer in the summer.
It is believed Edu Gaspar remains interested in signing him and there is a reported understanding he will sign with the Gunners next summer on a free transfer.

Signing Tielemans for free is an absolute steal, as he will help strengthen the Gunners’ midfield.
However, Arteta’s still needs a midfielder in January and not in the summer, hopefully, one would come in to compliment the efforts of the players on the ground.
