Gabriel Jesus’ Arsenal shirt number has been revealed as the new signing is seen at the Emirates Stadium in leaked footage.

The Gunners are set to formally announce their new capture imminently, after agreeing a £45m deal with Manchester City to sign the Brazilian forward this summer.

And, ahead of his presentation at the Emirates, it’s emerged he’ll wear the No 9 jersey previously occupied by Alexandre Lacazette, who departed the club ahead of his expiring contract on 30 June 2022.

Video footage posted on social media shows the Brazil international soaking in his new surroundings as he gears up for his next challenge in north London.

The former Palmeiras forward is set to be the outright number one striker at the Emirates and has considerably proven himself a top-tier forward in the English top-flight amassing an impressive 58 goals and 32 assists in 159 appearances despite not being Guardiola’s main man upfront.

It may well turn to be a significant coup for the Gunners in the long run.
