THE LATEST: RETURN TO TRAINING

Gabriel Jesus has returned to Arsenal’s training ground to speed up his rehabilitation from knee surgery.

In soothing news for Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal squad, Jesus reported back to the club’s Colney Training Ground on Tuesday.

According to GOAL, he no longer needs the assistance of a knee brace or crutches to move around. In fact, it was also reported that Jesus was able to do some light ball work on a training pitch.

However, he will need more time time to rebuild the strength in his knee and there is no specific target date for his return to competitive fixtures.

THE VERDICT: GOOD PROGRESS

It is simply amazing to know that his recovery and rehabilitation is going according to plan.
