The camp of Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus are optimistic about the player’s inclusion at this year’s World Cup in Qatar.

THE LOWDOWN: GREAT START IGNORED

Gabriel Jesus made the switch to the Emirates from the blue side of Manchester in the summer and has become one of the side’s best players. His performance in attack has helped the Gunners to the summit of the Premier League log.

Surprisingly, Jesus was left out of Brazil’s squad in the just internationals against Ghana and Tunisia. Many questioned the decision but manager Tite stuck with his initial decision to leave the Arsenal man out of his team.

Not only Jesus was left out, as Arsenal teammates Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli also suffered the same fate, with the World Cup in Qatar on the horizon.

Meanwhile, his team are still hopeful that Tite would extend a call up to the forward when the list is released next month.

THE LATEST: SOME OPTIMISM

According to The Sun, Jesus’ camp are quite confident he will be included in Tite’s final selection next month.

Having enjoyed an unexpected break, Jesus will be fresh for Saturday’s north London derby against Tottenham as Arsenal hope to cement their position at the top of the log.

Jesus was handed his debut in the National team under Tite back in 2016 and in total, he has made 56 appearances for the South American giants.

He was last involved for the Selecao in June but played a huge part in the World Cup qualifiers earlier.

THE VERDICT: NO CAUSE FOR ALARM

With 26 players set to be named by Brazil for the Mundial in Qatar, Jesus not making the team looks impossible. He has scored 19 goals since his debut and looks like one of the goal threats the team has at the moment.

Tite has played him to a large extent and Jesus’ camp have every right to be optimistic about his involvement later in November. So, the case could be whether he would feature or not but it looks certain that he will return to the squad.
