Gunners legend Kevin Campbell believes Mykhailo Mudryk ‘fits the profile’ at Arsenal, while he remains unsure about Chelsea winger, Christian Pulisic.

Arsenal enjoyed incredible success in the summer as the arrival of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and others helped them to stay top of the league until Christmas.

By virtue of those significant performances, Mikel Arteta has been on the lookout for quality additions to his side in January.

Mudryk and Pulisic are some of the players linked with a move to the Emirates next summer and a former star of the club has now passed his thoughts on both players.

THE LATEST: PUNDIT’S REACTION

Kevin Campbell believes Mykhailo Mudryk is a perfect fit for Arsenal, while he is unsure if Pulisic’s playing style suits the bill for Mikel Arteta.

The Arsenal legend went on to add that Arteta can work and get the best out of Christian Pulisic, who continues to struggle at Chelsea.

“It depends if he fits their profile,” said Campbell.

“I think he is a good player. You mention all the stuff he has done, but he wasn’t a starter at Chelsea. He was a bit-part player.

“I think he’s a really good player, don’t get me wrong. But he wasn’t the difference-maker at Chelsea in those games. He showed his qualities against England. I know England were poor, but I think the USA did really well and he showed that he can play at the highest level.

“With Mikel Arteta’s coaching. We might be able to get even more out of him. But, the bottom line is, does he fit their profile? That’s the big key. Mudryk fits the profile.

“Pulisic, it might be a difficult one to do because it’s Chelsea.”

THE VERDICT: MUDRYK OR PULISIC?

This would certainly be easy for Arsenal fans who have monitored the Champions League this season. Mudryk, who featured for Shakhtar Donetsk in the European competition this season, was a shining light in the games he played.

Arsenal fans love him and the only stumbling block to his switch to the Emirates could be the club as per transfer negotiations.

On the other hand, Chelsea might be unwilling to sell to a direct Premier League rival like Arsenal and that could complicate any potential move for Pulisic.
