Arsenal target Mykhailo Mudryk is surprised by the engagements he has been receiving from Arsenal fans on social media.
THE LOWDOWN: TARGET
Arsenal have been eyeing Mudryk for a while now and has been identified as a target next summer. The talented winger has been excellent for Shakhtar Donetsk this season and rumours have been linking him with a swift move to the Emirates.
The “Ukrainian Messi” once confessed his love for Arsenal and another report confirmed that the Gunners made contact with the club for his signage.
As things stand, Arsenal fans have been courting the youngster on social media as explained by himself.

Mykhailo Mudryk has admitted the level of engagement from Arsenal fans on social media has really surprised him, as he continues to be linked with a move to North London.
The 21-year-old winger scored three goals in the Champions League group stage and has become a subject of interest for clubs across Europe.
Speaking in an interview with Vlada Sedan, Oleksandr Zinchenko’s wife, Mudryk suggested the amount of interest from Arsenal supporters was not something he expected.
“One surprise for me was how many Arsenal fans followed me,” Mudryk told Sedan.
“No other club’s fans have interacted as much as them. Telling me that they are waiting for me, saying ‘Come to us’. One of my recent posts has over 500 comments saying that.”
Mudryk praised Arsenal’s style of play and also revealed the kind of discussions he would need to have with Arteta before committing to joining the club.
“Yeah, I check on them on MyScore and know when they’re playing, I can check on them,” Mudryk said.
“I also watch them too. A very dynamic side, in general not just in controlling possession but also in scoring goals.
“The team’s style of play will play a role (in transfer decision). It’s very important to me.”
On other factors that will influence his thinking, he added: “I would first want to know from the head coach that even if I wasn’t a guaranteed starter, that I’d receive a chance.
“Essentially I need to hear directly from the manager what he envisages my role to be in his side.”
THE VERDICT: LOVES THE CLUB
It looks as if he has his eyes fixed on the club and it seems that compatriot Oleksandr Zinchenko has been doing a lot to convince him to pick Arsenal..
Arsenal currently need a winger and it’s not clear whether the Ukrainian club will be willing to sell him come January. However, the Gunners should be ready to take action when necessary, as the player looks interested in the idea of a transfer.
