Arsenal star Kieran Tierney is reportedly a target for two Serie A giants if he has given permission to leave the Emirates this summer.

THE LOWDOWN: CHANGE OF FORTUNE

Tierney has been practically Arsenal’s number since the appointment of Mikel Arteta. Despite his injuries, he has always given his best in the club’s colours since his move from Scotland.

In a bid to create some competition in the left-back role, Arsenal snapped up Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City and he has been getting more playing time than the Scotland international.

Having seen a drastic reduction in his number of starts this season, Tierney could be thinking of a move away from the Emirates and it appears some Italian clubs are willing to push for his signature.

THE LATEST: INTEREST FROM ITALY

Kieran Tierney could emerge as a target for Juventus and Inter Milan if he is allowed to leave Arsenal this summer, according to reports in Italy.

Meanwhile, it remains increasingly unlikely that Tierney would go anywhere else before Tuesday’s transfer deadline as the Scotland international will be determined to play his part in Arsenal’s bid for English Premier League triumph in the second half of the season.

However, with the Gunners being linked with a move for Vallodolid full-back Ivan Fresneda this summer, that could see Tierney find himself another club.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Juventus and Inter Milan are ready to battle with each other to sign Tierney.

THE VERDICT: HAS TO STAY

Just like Zinchenko, Tierney isn’t always because of his injury concerns hence the reason why Arteta has done well to rotate them.

Tierney will have to play a part in Arsenal’s final push for the rest of the season and will have to remain at the Emirates as the Gunners could play Champions League football next season.
