Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea are ready to potentially enter a bidding war for the services of highly-rated Torino defender Gleison Bremer this summer.

THE LOWDOWN: PRODUCTIVE SUMMER

The Gunners have enjoyed a productive summer transfer window thus far securing the services Marquinhos from Sao Paulo, FC Porto playmaker Fabio Vieira, goalkeeper Matt Turner from New England Revolution and Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus is said to be on the brink of a switch to North London, after completing his medical at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta is also on the lookout for defensive reinforcements, despite now having the luxury of calling upon William Saliba, back from his successful loan spell at Marseille last term.

The north London outfit are in a battle with Manchester United for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez.

In the scenario that the deal for the Argentinian fails, a new name has entered the wishlist of the Gunners recruitment team to bolster their defence, but they do face some hefty competition again.

THE LATEST: AGENT TALKS

According to 90min, Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati is ready to hold discussions with several London clubs regarding a possible deal for Bremer.

Torino are prepared to let him go after the Brazilian expressed his wish to pursue a new challenge last summer despite staying another year.

According to previous reports, it is stated that the Serie A outfit want a figure in the region of €40m (£35m) to allow the 25-year-old to leave the club this summer.

THE VERDICT: A BARGAIN FOR KSE

Previously dubbed a “monster” by journalist Maxi Angelo and “faultless” by Daily Express reporter Ryan Taylor, the Brazilian has established himself as one of the most sought-after players, contributing to his club putting together an impressive defensive record earlier in 2021-22 which was on par with Serie A’s top sides.

The 25-year-old colossus averaged a superb SofaScore rating of 7.13 in the Italian top-flight last term as he delivered brilliant and consistent performances at the back.

He also recorded an astonishing 4.7 tackles and interceptions and 4.0 clearances per game, showcasing that he can be relied upon to consistently dispossess his attacking opponents whilst also being in the right place at the right time to clear danger when needed.

This front-foot defensive approach will fit right at home in the Premier League, which means the Gunners must do everything they can to add Bremer to their racks this summer. He could potentially prove a bargain buy for KSE.

AND in other news, Arsenal remain in the hunt for 25 y/o dynamo playmaker…
