Arsenal are reportedly interested in re-signing former academy star Jaidon Anthony from Bournemouth.
THE LOWDOWN: ACTIVE ARSENAL
The Gunners have seen their transfer business this January hit a significant turnaround after the disappointment with Mudryk.
The Gunners have snapped up Leandro Trossard from Brighton according to reports in the media and are looking to follow that up with more reinforcements this January.
A transfer expert explained the situation as regards the winter business and it seems Arsenal are using the final days of the month to strengthen the side.
THE LATEST: FORMER ACADEMY PRODUCT
Arsenal are interested in re-signing former academy star Jaidon Anthony from Bournemouth.
The winger spent 10 years with the Gunners before being released in 2016.
The former Academy star scored eight goals and registered seven assists as the Cherries earned promotion back to the top flight. But he has not seen enough playing time this season, making just four starts so far.
But Arteta has been pleased with him so far and The Mail claims Arsenal are keen on signing the winger, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
He made his Premier League debut against Arsenal in August as Mikel Arteta’s side ran out 3-0 winners.
THE VERDICT: INDIFFERENT
Not sure he’s the kind of player Arsenal need to add substance to the attack. Trossard’s talent is tested and trusted unlike that of Anthony.
Arsenal can look elsewhere for more suitable talents other than the former Academy star.
