The agent of Hakim Ziyech has urged Arsenal to make a move for the Ajax star.
Ziyech has established himself as one the most promising stars in European football at present, and recent comments by the Moroccan’s agent means Arsenal fans may have reason to get excited.
The Morocco international, has spent three seasons with Ajax where he’s netted 25 goals and provided 42 assists in 97 appearances.
His form has seen him linked with various European heavyweights including Fenerbahce and Roma. But his agent Rene van Der Gijp would like to see either the Gunners or Liverpool make a move on his client.
Quoted in Voetbal Primeur, Van Der Gijp said:
I hope that there will be a better club than Roma – an Arsenal or Liverpool.
When grilled on whether Ziyech should move to Merseyside rivals Everton, the representative was less enthused:
That would be crazy for that boy, he should not go to Everton.
It’s not clear whether Jurgen Klopp or Unai Emery have any concrete interest in the 25-year-old.
