The agent of Lucas Torriera is due to meet the Arsenal player and the club to discuss his future.

Torreira reportedly ‘unhappy’ at Arsenal

Last week, we carried a report describing Torreira as someone who ‘isn’t living a good moment’ at the Emirates and ‘seems unhappy with his adventure in England’.

The diminutive midfielder is also suggested to be frustrated with the new position Unai Emery has deployed him this season.

Emery used him in his preferred defensive midfield position last campaign, while he’s largely played him in the centre of the pitch this term.

TMW claims his agent will fly to England next week to discuss Torreira’s future with Arsenal. If there are ‘no conditions to continue’, the South American could leave the north London club by ‘mutual agreement’.

Having joined Arsenal from Sampdoria in 2018, AC Milan were keen on acquiring Lucas Torreira’s services in the summer, but failed to complete the deal.

It is not clear whether Torreira would be allowed to leave in January.
