Arsenal look set to finally get a deal for Yannick Carrasco over the line.

The midfielder has made no secret of his desire to leave Chinese football and Dalian behind him and is set for a move back to Europe.

Carrasco, who was an icon for Atletico Madrid, joined the Chinese championship in February 2018.

Now, however, he just wants to return to Europe and it seems like he could well be about to do that with Arsenal.

TMW report Arsenal have ‘found an agreement’ with the player on a four year contract worth €6m a season, after tax. The Gunners have also offered €25m as a transfer fee.

With Carrasco clearly wanting a way out, it would be suspected his club will agree sooner or later.

Unai Emery is rumoured to have a £40million budget this summer. If that’s the case, then the deal for Carrasco would see him use a large chunk of his finances for just one signing.
