With six games to go, Arsenal’s chances of winning the race for the top four are still in their own hands.

The Gunners have dropped to 5th in the Premier League following Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Everton.

With Liverpool and Manchester United battling it out for the Premier League title, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea and Unai Emery’s men are all vowing for just two remaining spots for Champions League qualification.

Despite this though, star striker Alexandre Lacazette insists his side are ‘confident’ of finishing inside the top four.

‘Sunday we all played bad. We didn’t do what the coach asked us,’ the French striker said. ‘But we still have confidence. We want to win a trophy, we are confident.’

On Arsenal’s poor away form, Lacazette added: ‘We have fans [at home] so we feel more confident. Some days you don’t play like you want. That’s it.’

The Gunners have turned their attention to Napoli ahead of Thursday’s Europa League clash. However, they are back in Premier League action as a trip to Watford awaits on Monday Night Football.
